I've returned

Haven't updated this in awhile so I thought i'd actually write on this thing with what i've been upto in the meantime, well i've set up an online portfolio for all my work on DeviantArt which is linked to my twitter (which is also linked to my facebook fanpage of my illustrations).

So my work is all covered under one roof, then i've got my business cards finally done which is awesome since they've got my 'Bearly Awake' piece printed on them.

Had a lovely chinese meal on Sunday with one of the housemates and a friend popped over so that was cool, plus I did manage to get all my Christmas shopping done before the rush. Went to town yesterday with my grandmother (which is the bestest thing since she spoils me haha.. nah she's just awesome). Had a meal after helping my gran get my uncle his presents, also my great aunts and had my christmas money (plus Harry Potter Book with cool things that you can keep/collect).

~So i've neglected blogger for a while since mainly busy with university work and socialising I do apologise.

Anyway with my absence I bring news of my re-launched DeviantART account, OctopussDreams which has mostly all my new work from university projects and has a few old pieces on there. You can have a look here.
I'm currently off for two days due to my lecturers being away from the university which is a god send, finally catch up on sleep i've not been having but also doing work at my own pace! Mainly repainting a frame for my exhibition work and doing a few monoprints for Wednesday's work. But things in university seem to be going smoothly.

~ I want it to be Christmas already, I don't want to be in Wales much longer.

I've already done my Christmas shopping since I had little money to spend so may aswell get it out of the way! Mum, Dad, Gran & Grampa T, Gran & Grampa P, uncle Sean, Dan, Dani & Jason, Kat & Luke, Charlie, Dan's mum (kinda left Dan to pick something for his dad lol since I have no clue what to get him!). Got all the cards, wrapped the presents, I'm finally ready to sit down to Christmas dinner haha!

Well it's been awhile I can't lie but you guys deserve a really awesome update, I've been mostly focusing on my university work so i've created a new DeviantART account to show my online portfolio (here). Also since i've been focusing on university work i've been too busy to do much on the social life, but did celebrate my boyfriend's 21st birthday on the 29th and Halloween at two house parties (those were pretty cool but didn't manage to get many photographs). So i'm pretty much looking forward to bonfire's night on Tuesday (yeah they've rescheduled since the weather) so i'm hoping to take out the fisheye and digital out then.

That's about it :)

Hello blue eyes! Yes my mum dyed my hair back to black since it's much more manageable and cheaper to maintain really. I'm just gonna let it grow out and keep the fringe that size since it seems to suit me more than a swept fringe that I use to have. Anyway i'm going to enjoy my weekend and not waste it away on the internet :)

Oh it's alright i'm better now, well i've still got the irritating cough and sniffles but I feel much more me now! So things are all muddled up, i've got to do alot of work on Saturday and Sunday since i've found out i'm invited to a house party on Friday. Fun times! Playing catch up on university work is okay since i've only missed three days and I know what i'm doing (I have a very calm attitude here). My hair isn't pissing me off so much which is great, since my mum can only do my hair the end of the week/beginning of next week and i've learnt to just do plaits so the colour blends :) even though I will be going back to black since it lasts longer!

Writing this sentence is kinda weird when your just focusing on stream of thoughts...

Anyway i've made a purple cake for show pride, wear purple (which I didn't so i've made a cake to show my awesome pride in memory of those are not with us due to homophobia). And yes I fully support LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans) since i'm bisexual (and don't you all go sighing or huffing and puffing like I steal all the straight and bi ladies out there before you do, since i'm perfectly happy with my boyfriend. But I've dated both genders, they both have drama problems equally and that is my view). And if your homophobic then you have a small small pea size brain that needs to get out more, plus purple is a lovely colour to wear!

Daniel, the boyfriend bought me a Scott Pilgrim t-shirt when I was dying over the weekend which is bloody lovely<3 See I love surprises but I really really love opening parcels that come to the house/or are for me, opening presents around Christmas gets me over the top insane. But yeah it's a pretty awesome t-shirt which i'm going to wear tomorrow to university (even though i've still yet to see it in the cinema.. I don't think it's even still in the cinemas now, just have to wait for the dvd to come out haha), theory class in the morning and then a seminar in the midday period! ARGH i'm so pumped (listening to my new OK GO album<3) this band was invented for nerds/geeks/freaks that want something different haha..

Mermaid Jazz has the flu :(

So i've recently dyed my hair to a lovely emerald colour, which makes me think i'm a mermaid and gets lots of stares when I go out in public. It's not even nasty comments just big wide eyes and mouths slightly open... freaks me out to be honest, i've seen brighter hair colours and mine doesn't reach there. Plus I may need a top up since the ends are going lighter :/

Plus i've acquired that lovely straw hat from my housemate Henrik, which I think it's okay to do since we all made Sunday dinner last weekend and it was bloody lovely! Okay it might not be the sexiest photograph of a Sunday dinner but it was so tasty :)

I'm currently dying of the flu which wasn't part of my relaxing weekend as I hoped, going to see what tomorrows like and if i'm still feeling crappy not gonna go in on Monday (even though there might be a workshop plus i've got work due in on Tuesday... )

✎ So i'm currently sat in my lovely living room with my boyfriend watching crap on the telly, still i've got this horrid cold and i'm taking a handful of tablets every four hours. Hoping to lose this by next week since i've got to get up to date on university work, also bought a four children's books for my project coming up on characters/storyline/moral etc. to help me reference. Anyway yesterday was really nice, had a girly shopping day with my friend Hattie at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet (which I really love since their starting to get Christmas items in and such).

I think i'm getting more and more excited for Christmas than Halloween, maybe it's because kids don't egg your house if you don't answer haha or I just like wrapping up in layers. I don't even know what to do for Halloween since my last one was absolutely pants! So was thinking getting treats, thriller/horror movies and chilling out at home with the boyfriend for it... sounds good right? So I was saying about Christmas, mainly thinking/been asked about going to the boyfriend's place for a Christmas meal and i'm looking forward to that. Also dying my hair this Wednesday to turquoise/blue, which is exciting and terrifying since I hope it goes well!

Whoa it's been awhile..

It's October which means boyfriend's birthday, Halloween and plenty of nights out with friends! Currently suffering freshers flu from other students coming back to university with all the germies :(

So my first week back at university has been filled with me being in uni for petty minutes and hours then getting the day free to do whatever (their mostly concerned with first years and third years). So basically getting briefs, learning the timetable given to me and getting supplies ready for different lessons that i'm joined up to. So nothing really exciting going on there, but been ordering clothes and jewellery since I needed an autumn closet ready for the cold times coming ahead. Bought the boyfriend two games (Halo Reach and Mafia 2) since he's been and done alot for me over the summer which i'm super grateful. Plus i've got no idea what to do for his birthday since his parents might be planning something, so I can't sort out anything just incase it clashes and I don't even know what to get for his 21st aswell... hmm?

Paid my rent for the term aswell so i've got one less thing to think of, also save for the bills coming out every month and food bills... So i'm living pretty okay at the moment, was planning on going out this weekend but being ill stopped that haha. I've planned my girls night out for next weekend, but even though i'm ill I was planning to go out with my friend to finish shopping tomorrow...

✎I've been at the new house and to be honest it feels strange without parents or the dog running back and forth into my room. But I love it, I love being all grown up with a house and lovely housemates to keep company with! Made a lovely cake today just to fill in the afternoon since my sleeping pattern is going to bed around 12pm/1am then waking up around midday which isn't bad. Just feel so lethargic while being here, it's the lovely bloody house keeping me in all the time! Might play Animal Crossing later on, getting quite addicted to it (which the boyfriend isn't liking too much haha).

✎Also re-organised the whole shopping thing i'm planning around the end of September, explained to the boyfriend that I really need new clothes since i've gotten rid of clothes I can't fit into and I haven't got much left! (So hopefully getting dark skinny jeans, two skirts, two going out tops & two cardigans). Might be getting myself a pair of UGGS too, with some going out shoes aswell and accessories :)

✎ So i've finally moved into my student house today, so much work but my family helped me out alot with the packing/lifts/and such. I've posted some photographs below of my room, all set up with my stuff and it looks cosy :) I've been thinking about decorating all summer then once it comes to doing it, it goes so fast! Least tomorrow we get the internet sorted out, then going into to town for me to sort out a student account with my bank and some other things. And this Thursday coming we have plans to go to a friend's birthday which is nice to fill up the evening with! All of us might be going to see Scott Pilgrim on the weekend, which is good since I haven't seen it still :)

✎ For the past few days i've been busy busy lately, so I didn't get round to blog something down! Went to Birmingham for the last time on Friday with friends and had a really lovely time. Plus it was me and Daniel's anniversary so I enjoyed it even more, plus visited this shop called 'CyberCandy' which is pretty awesome for stocking all the sweets available in America/Japan/Canada etc. but costs alot just for something small. Daniel got me this really comfy cardigan for me and some earrings to make up for the two i've lost in his bedroom haha (i'm still pretty gutted about those mind!). Daniel finally got a Wii, Monster Hunter Tri game and I bought myself Animal Crossing which i'm getting so addicted too hehe. Forgot to mention the whole thing with the box image above is to do with me packing things up at the boyfriend's parents place since we're moving back into our new house on Monday so last night I rushed to do all my packing so I could relax today!

✎ Also had a lovely time out in Stratford-upon-Avon with the boyfriend and his grandparents, they took us out since we popped over to see their finally decorated house. I've never seen so many tourists there, plus it was so warm Saturday but I enjoyed going out rather than staying in the house stuck on the laptop hehe. Got some clotted cream fudge from one shop, plus we saw this Christmas shop filled to the ceiling with all kinds of decorations (I wanted this one cute gingerbread man with a cooking hat but he was too expensive).

Good morning! Well i'm up very early just because I wanted to say goodbye to the boyfriend as he goes to work. Pleased with myself that I can actually wake up this early haha, anyway i'm pretty excited for Friday and Monday coming. Me and Daniel's 1year and a half anniversary on Friday, nothing really special planned but going to Birmingham to see friends and he's buying a Wii (He use to play Monster Hunter with his friends from the caravan on PSP but now it's come out on the Wii & their cheaper now he wants to get it). Which I don't mind since around Christmas time I want to get a few Mario games for myself, but for Friday I kinda hoping Daniel will get the hints that i'd like Animal Crossing : Let's go to the city.

Other news in Wales my mum & gran have sorted out my list of things for the new house, which i'm very grateful for! Since I have no money at the moment plus i'm moving in on Monday the 6th, it seemed the best to ask if they had any of the items around or could buy me some. My mums made a lovely black & plum king size duvet cover which i'm looking forward to seeing and snuggling up hehe, they've packed all my clothes/dvds/other crap that's in my room and bringing it up when I get dropped off in the new house. Saves time & such so koodos to them, i've just got to go back with them on the day to pick up personal stuff that they've forgotten :) Plus she's getting me a printer that I wanted to get/mentioned in the blog, which my dad couldn't afford (my dad lets me down alot for the past few years, plus my mum does have her bad days but when she does all this for me I'm really glad she's around).

Above you can see the changes to my spending spree in October, which is good that I actually mooched around for since i'm saving half on all the items i've picked! The silver birdy earrings and the tree necklace are both from Beadix, all together they cost under £13. The silver silk scarf is vintage from Japan which is from VintageDazzle which costs just £8 and the red & gold silk scarf is from Victoria&Charlotte which is under £6! these are all from Etsy which is great if you don't want to spend a fortune on vintage looks.

Also I keep losing earrings here or breaking them which utterly sucks but Dan said he'd buy me some new ones on Friday which is nice. He's also ordered a present for me but it'll arrive at my gran's for the time being, since we're leaving on Monday and it'll be waiting for me! Also my swallow necklace, emerald heart earrings, koi fish keyring & decorative tapes will hopefully be waiting for me too. I like having letters/parcels waiting for me at home, just a lovely feeling opening something up.

So basically got a week left in England, which is good since i'm missing Wales a lot but i'll miss friends over here too. I'm looking forward to going back because i've just remembered too that it's mine and Daniel's 1year & a half anniversary next Friday (which isn't a big deal but i'm happy we're getting there). Which is close to the 2year mark which would then mean it's my longest relationship so far, i'm just happy I have someone and i'm glad i'm not going through university alone to be honest. Also i'm getting a present which is always good in my books, i'm getting a special made 'Octopus embroidered Headband' made by janinebasil on Etsy. But instead of the 'Hot Pink' i'm getting it in a 'Pale Blue' so it'll match most of my clothes :)

Also talking about buying things yesterday I lost my favourite pearl drop earrings, they weren't expensive or anything but they did match alot of things plus they weren't studs. So I checked the website from where I bought them but they don't sell them any more so onto Etsy to find some earrings.. and found these cute 'Emerald Green Heart Studs' made by junquiegirl again on Etsy. Of course i've bought them & currently waiting for them to be shipped on this weekend coming but also they match this bracelet that I really want for Christmas off the boyfriend :) (plus i'm not putting up the link for the bracelet since I really want it/it's one of a kind).

Also my mother messaged me via facebook to tell me my 'Sparrow Necklace' has arrived at home, finally went ahead and bought it from ilookpretty which is also from Etsy. I didn't get the matching earrings though since I thought I would over do it with my swallow bandeau top as well.

And last but not least I bought a lovely 'Oriental Lucky Fish Charm' and 'Ten units of small deco tape' from littleteethshop just to cheer me up from the slow summer.

So been spending time with the boyfriend more than anything since he's on his days off, so making cakes and having a lovely meal is what i've been doing today. Pretty much only got two weeks till I return to Wales, for the first week i'll be swamped doing unpacking/packing/organising where things are going in my room. I'm looking forward to it only because i'm OCD and I want to move into the lovely house i'm gonna be living in for two years (wow seems like a very long time). Also sorted out the budget for September towards December, which has been bugging me nearly all of this month and it seems so simple now lol. Been thinking of meeting friends before I start university, since when I do move back i'll have nearly a month to wait before things get good and that sucks!

I posted a blog a few days ago with a list of things I was going to buy off Etsy only to find out that one shop closed down, mega dissapointment but there we go I can't force them to open.. or can I? lol. But anyway i've been looking on ModCloth for accessories, which is costly to send over here but their really beautiful things i've wishlist.

So yesterday I went to meet up with Dani and Jason up in Birmingham again, so lucky to have warm weather and i'm actually glad I wore my bandeau top (nice & cool when the sun was out and loads of people in the bullring). Daniel finally got the speakers he wanted since he's been winging to me alot about speakers, but he got some with really good bass & he's happy so that's all good. Also got a few treats off Daniel which was really nice of him, had a lovely meal at Nandos and caramel milkshake in Selfridges aswell to finish the day off nicely! Finally got a strapless bra to wear with the bandeau tops/dresses, new pair of purple tights too and some awesome cloud laces hehe.

Daniels at work today & tomorrow so occupying myself by downloading a game on the xbox, I bought Tomb Raider Underworld but the disk isnt working so Daniel's bought me the game from the marketplace and we're gonna return the game next time we go up Birmingham (to make it fair i'm letting him have the £5 return and the £10 Gamestation card I have). But wouldn't you think shops check the disk before selling it on?
But atleast tonight or tomorrow I get to play the game finally haha..

❤ Ah life with the boyfriend working this summer has lead me to inviting my old habits back, you know before your in a relationship and just did whatever you wanted. I've been watching telly much more than I use to, i'm glad 'Ugly Betty' has returned into my life and I just wish a few other habits would return. I miss the times where I would go to university, finish early and go out for drinks with my mates. I miss the times where i'd buy myself clothes without worrying about the cost or money, just spending on myself. I think this September calls for changes, I think I need a few changes personal wise and a little more me time.

Finally finished faffing about on Etsy for jewellery to get this September, mainly to match my clothes and just update my taste/style (I love weird/kitsch stuff especially if it's cheap haha).

❤ Also made my mind up on the shoes that i'll be getting, in my whole life never got very girly shoes/no heals at all. So I felt a change plus these will be lovely for nights out instead of bloody plimsoles haha!

❤ I'm finding the need to go outside so badly right now, I want to go and socialise but there's nothing going on around here. Bewdley, Birmingham or anywhere really I couldn't care where, just to be out of the house with some friends or going out for the day and enjoying. Another thing to be enjoyed at Swansea, friends are closer and there's a town center just 10minutes away from our house. I don't even know if Dan's grandparents need there bedroom to be painted? Haven't heard anything from them in a week and abit. Confused much.

❤ Still waiting on the parcels! Gah I hate waiting on deliveries because sometimes they come early which is perfect but normally I get them on the exact day they've noted or later. But I really can't wait, two new tops to wear around the end of summer and university time :)

❤ I've never been so grateful to get to go on one, I really enjoyed myself and seeing such lovely animals up close & personal was amazing. Definatly glad we walked in, since four people were paying upto £80 for entry and wristbands and didn't get to ride next to the animals like us :) We paid a £5 for a coach safari trip, five people showed up including us and it was fantastic! The weather was lovely aswell, sunshine in the morning then cloudy spot of rain when we started the safari trip but dry allthrough the afternoon and it lasted an hour and a half. By the time we got back to the entrance we had some food then hit the theme park, there's more rides for kids than adults but we still had fun. Had an awesome day with my boyfriend, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't of known how cool it was. We're even thinking of going again with some friends!

Hello outside!

Tomorrow I get to go outside finally, this week has been long and I'm so thankful! I'm so excited to going out i've planned two outfits just incase its cold/raining and one if it's warm/sunny. Now to plan what i'm packing in my bag, since i'm that OCD and always prepared (purse, wetwipes, 2x camera, hat, vaseline lip balm, BB, nail file). Think that pretty much covers it, i'll have a shower after dinner with the boyfriend and I can relax for the rest of the night :)

Or look on Artbox for some lovely things hehe, I can look but not touch.. yet.

Do you miss the rain?

❤ It's pouring down outside my window, which is a good thing and a bad thing I suppose. I love watching the rain while your all snuggled up inside, but I don't want it to rain on Monday since i'm really looking forward to going out with my boyfriend finally (he's been working nearly all this week, while i've been stuck indoors with daytime telly and my laptop.. doesn't sound that bad but gets abit boring lol). So nothing new to report just looking at cute things online, like the scrummiest doughnut cushion hehe and the cat mug! from Artbox.

❤ I dunno what i'm like :) without money i'm looking/listing things I can get when I get money and when I do have money i'm making lists on what to buy with the money. Typical woman!

❤ Yesterday I was talking about changing my colour scheme into autumn & winter, these are both from DorothyPerkins. I love this dress, it's quirky and something I would wear on a night out. It's not that bad priced too (£35) which is good for begging the boyfriend to let me buy it hehe. Although the jacket is a tad more pricey (£65).

❤ Ah i'm already finding these bandeau tops from DorothyPerkins! Only (£12) which is bargin time for moi :) Also looking at dark cardigans from Matalan since their only (£14).

❤ I know I don't dress well at the moment but i'm hoping this change of colour & style will change how people see me, mainly be cutting out the bad food aswell when September comes since I need to lose weight just to feel better. Also since i'm living on a huge hill this year, will be saving money too (since I use to travel back and forth to Swansea, food aswell since i'll be with the boyfriend i'll be doing much more meals not snacking all the time and hopefully I will change).

❤ On a more boyish note ;) I still need to catch up on my dvd pile, there's the lovely three boxsets of Supernatural I need to get my mitts on (i've seen the first season a number of times thanks to telly, but I need to re-watch season 2 & 3 since i've missed a few episodes here and there hehe). Looking forward to that, I think i'm saving those while Dan's away working. Then finish the other half of the Alien boxset, watched all of the Aliens but AVP/AVP2 and Predator/Predator2. See my tomboy side sparkling through thanks to my dad, my boyfriend and my personal taste hehe. Also last but not least my Bladerunner boxset that I had for my 20th off my boyfriend, I really can't wait for a boring dull & grey day to watch that beast<3

Plus I also need to updo my style, so lately I was 'aloud' by my boyfriend to get these two boobtubes (which i've never worn in my life so let's change that!) swallow print & brown/cream zebra print one. I say aloud since i've spent quite abit of money over this summer, but now he has a job he's not so touchy with money which is a good thing for me.

I find them so lovely, even though there not here yet but they'll go with most of my other stuff. I've gone for toned down colours since i'm changing what type of colours i'm into this autumn/winter thinking greys/navy/dark blues. This Friday their coming❤
Plus for £6.30 each, can't go wrong :)

Anyway on to other things.. i've been listing away things for the new house! Practically all I bloody go on about, but I love decorating my own room (plus my room in this new house is huge, bigger than the one back home so my mind is buzzing with ideas) and some of the things i've put down i've emailed my grandmother to have a look over to see if she has anything or can get it for me :) My mother knows what stuff I like now, so it's much more easier to simply write everything down, send it back home and when I return to find some lovely things she's found! Plus I don't really mind if they don't find some of the stuff since i've been looking online at some shiny pretty things I want for the house.

Alone & Sketching

Well finding out that the boyfriend is going to be working from Wednesday till Sunday is a bummer, I have to pull my finger out and putting more effort into doing my summer project since i've finally got my draft done below.

'I've been looking at the old fashioned carnivals with the bearded lady, the world's strongest man and such for reference. I like the style, the borders they put them in and it makes me want to take how they presented them and put my 'freaks' in. When I say my freaks, I mean i'm taking friends/family/people that come into my life and go out and illustrating them as how I really see them. Giving them a sort of 'power' or 'weirdness' and presenting them in my own personal carnival. Some people may see the resemblence straight away but others might be totally oblivious to what their staring at is them. But I want to try my best to keep everyone who I sketch in this, annonymous. I will be doing a handfull series, say five of my family the ones that are close to me/four of my friends that stick out/then four more of people that just come and go into my life. I'm looking forward to see how this ends, I may put myself in this with my flaws though as the ring master.'

So going to try and finish off some peices by Sunday, then email my lecturer with this paragraph and two illustrations out of the series :) quite chuffed with myself to find my own take on the carnival brief, now to just do the series of illustrations.

I don't know how people can live with bullying another person, if it's friends and just joking around yeah i'm all up for that. But just on a social network where your suppose to have some dignity, manners and not spam shit loads of vulgar messages to another person you've never met. Ugh I feel really crap at the moment, this normally doesn't bring me down since i've had this my whole life. Through secondary school and some of college i've been bullied, but I thought people had grown up now and over the internet. Well obviously I was wrong.

Just a few new shops i've bookmarked recently, I've been thinking about that parcel that's waiting home for me :3 (a lovely panda bear cup, tokidoki notebook, lots of stickers and a yummy breakfast keyring) hehe I really can't wait to open it! Such a special, but heck I really can't be sensible and non-childish little things like that really amuse me. Been recently filling my scrapbook that Dan bought me a while back, photographs/ripped up pieces of colourful paper yanno the usual :)

I need to slow down on the spending, i'm only planning on going to Alton Towers and West Midlands Safari Park this August so i'm fine moneywise :) Had a good day at Birmingham, alot of people around and since it's school holiday/Saturday being the busyiest day in the week lol. Bought an animal necklace and rhino earrings hehe ready for safari time! Going with Daniel one day soon, going to be booking a coach around the safari to see the animals! (will be taking my digital camera to take loads of lovely photographs, so hopefully it will be a dry day like today was).

Also finally got round to getting out a few sketches for my summer project, these aren't complete just ideas i'm having. Thinking of the old fashioned freak and weird carnivals with the bearded lady, strange child etc but then adapting it to my dream reality so they'd be people i'd know, myself and such objects in my life :)

I wanted to make my selection of shops grow, so I googled womens shops and these are some of the shops i've never been on/shopped there/heard of so I thought i'd take a wander on them :)

ASOS - okay it's got the same prices as Next (which is around £10-£40 for an item) which I don't mind paying and they actually have a decent sale going on, but I doubt i'd order from them and that's just my own opinon (The fact that I can't try on things before I buy is my reason for not being 100percent on this).
Koodos - Has a huge selection of brands available to mooch through, it's prices are actually not that bad and for the brands it's discounted :) Actually might try this out sometime!
TruffleShuffle - Pretty much explodes with awesome! retro t-shirts, weird kitsch jewellery & cups! Will probably be ordering from there lol.

Yoox - is very very expensive unless you have a job and don't need to eat that much lol, even on the sale most items are around £100 and I know I like shiny things but sorry i'm not cutting my kidney out and selling it for one thing on their site!

Urban Outfitters - Pretty expensive but if it's a birthday or your in the money day would recommend this site for a spending spree :) It's not a store i'd spend money on clothes but for accessories & bits and bobs sure!

To plait or to use curlers?

Finally got a curler for my hair, so i've been trying my hardest to use it properly and i've just done it how I think it's suppose to be done lol. My hair's much more wavy and you can see somethings been done but no major curls showing, but atleast i'm learning :) But just plaited my hair now and put it all up to set haha.

So far my day of relaxing has turned into day of utter boredum! I've cleaned the room, made the bed, had a shower, done my hair and currently looking at all the social things i'm signed up on but i'm still completely bored. Daniels been away for 6hours at his induction day so I have no clue when he's coming back home but I want it to be soon :) my phones being a pain in the ass too, it keeps telling me that I have notifications even though I switched those off, every email I get it tells me (which I thought was marvelous till it's just spam/useless emails coming through).

Think i've never ached so much in my life, prehaps this is what it feels like if you stripped for 7hours straight haha and i'm never doing it again (so painting everything in my house after university). So anyway that's taken up my day, totally tired/smelly so tomorrow will be shower/sort my hair out and relax with the Supernatural boxsets I indulged myself haha. Got seasons from 1-3 for only £24, which to me is a bargin with a capital B! Since Play.com was asking £40 for a 1-3 boxset :) So I think I did awesome in my bargins, also found out all my clothes and shoes buying fever only cost around £50 so I feel quite good about myself for not over the top spending. Emailed my gran telling her I used my mam's cash present as clothes & shoes buying so hopefully it's all good, just need somewhere to go to wear these lovely beasties!

Been invited to go to Alton Towers :) which is pretty nice since I went last August to Alton Towers, this time i'll make sure I go on all of the rides. Least want to get 2 photographs with Dan so I can stick in my student house back home<3 Tomorrow Dan will be away on his induction day so i'll take that day as my rest thanks! He'll get his days/hours then since we have to go painting at his grandparents house too, least the earlier we do the more time we have to ourselves :)

Some ways to look slimmer instantly :
- Fake Tan (basically they'd hide all the wobbly bits, give an overall glow).
- Snap yourself slim (another camera with a slim mode... right).
- Like for like (if you want your legs to look longer, wear similar colour tights to match shoes).
- Vertical stripes (there have been so many arguements about this.. I dunno).
- Accessorise (can distract people away from the lumps and bumps hmm).
- Bronze medal winner (brushing along the cheekbones to give a thinner look to your face).
- Shine on (shimmer along your shoulder bones and also shins can make you appear thinner).
- Hair today (round face? swept fringe and an edgey cut can change and make you look slimmer).
- The only way is up (if you want your hair out of your face the best style is an updo bun).
- V is for victory (v-necks can be your best friend if you've got a wide chest area).
Some of these I literally think wtf, but some of them do work I can vouch for the hair updo and also the v-necks :)

So with that beastly list, out of ten of those things I wear the leggins & headbands but don't think their much of a deal unless you wear the leggins all week. But everything else I agree with on the list, but this only counts for the single ladies am I right? Since couples, well guys in the relationship normally just agree just to play it safe. I think I might write more about fashion since I really find it interesting what's going on at the moment, especially if this statement above is true lol.

Anyway my life is running smoothly, even though tomorrow is filled with a shopping list and painting in the afternoon for Daniel's grandparents mmm. Means I have to get a pair of cheap joggers so I don't get paint on my nice clothes, also art supplies so I can finally start sketch ups of my ideas that i've been jotting down in my spare time and the essentials :) Not that exciting I suppose.. mostly getting stuff I need than stuff I want lol, another parcel will come this week and thankfully it's my last one since I need to stop spending money now. serious face lol. Also treated Daniel to a pair of shoes since his collection is worse than mine! used the discount code Schuh emailed me for reviewing a pair of shoes (new trick jazz learnt today haha). My grandmother emailed me about the japanese stuff I ordered around the same time as the jeans/shoes had arrived but no one answered the door, so they got sent back to the office. My gran's going back on Wednesday to pick them up hopefully, gave her a description and that'll be fine.

Why does someone have to come along and rain on your parade huh? Everyone must have an ex who is just there to remind you of your mistakes, or point out your weak points or just totally have a hissy fit on Facebook Chat! lol yeah pretty much just had a conversation that turned sour because he wasn't accepting that he was in the bloody wrong, enough not gonna remember this now since that would be a waste :)

Anyway pretty much been doing nothing today, woke up around 5pm and let my hair uncurl. Wow i'm living the dream right now haha, want to go out tomorrow but I doubt I will and just stay in and watch the time go slowly by.

So had my parcel early today, two pairs of lovely shoes from Schuh<3 And it didn't take long for my boyfriend to comment on them "Are those men shoes? they look more like ladies shoes..". Which I don't really mind since I only went for the colour and I really needed some new shoes! But yeah I wouldn't expect a guy to wear these kind of shoes, their bright and one has leopard print? haha.

Anyway my boyfriend got the job! So happy for him, he works at the West Midland Safari Park :) which means I need to find something to do while he works.. Since i'm still up his parents house in England, there's not really much I can do unless I just go out for walks and do abit of photography. It's too rainy and grey outside for some paintings but with a camera you can make anything beautiful :)

Spoke to my mum about the new house and plans when I get back to pack & such. Gave her a list of things i'd like to have for the new house, but only if she could get it and it wasn't ludicrously priced. The usual bed covers/pillows, bean bags, cutlery/plates, candles/frames.. Just some things I do want when I move to the new house :) Once i'm back and I have the room all sorted i'll take a few photos to show!

Things I want to do :
- Go to the Safari park's theme park :)
- Pick up my new jeans & have my other parcel arrive.
- Go to Birmingham & see Adam :)
- Use my fisheye camera more often.

Things I need to do :
- Put all the research of my summer project into a folder/usb stick.
- Get a sketchbook & some material so I can start ideas on the project.
- Get a job :( (even though i've tried everywhere).

They are one of the most deadliest things i've been addicted to in the past two days, but on the other hand this stops me from spending money around September when i get my loan/grant through :)

- Skinny Jeans from Next
- x2 Pairs of shoes from Schuh
- Cardigan, leggins & tights from Matalan
- Bundle of things from Artbox

To be honest I think I haven't over spent since all the things were on sale, plus the clothes and shoes are things I desperatly need (i'm not like a normal woman who has loads of shoes to go with everything so this is good for me, I have cowboy boots, converse, sandals, x2 pimsoles that isn't a grand collection). The bundle thing I got from the Artbox is just a few things I wanted to spoil myself with, mainly a tokidoki notebook/panda plastic cup/stickers/keyring not a huge amount of stuff I know. Enough about talking about money and buying stuff :)

Might be going to the West Midland Safari Park :) with the boyfriend over next weekend/whenever we can get dropped off at the enterance! I didn't know they had a theme park aswell as a safari, so we'll just be going through the theme park area. Will tell you more when the time is closer :)

Anything else? Nope, got nothing else going on, next Monday & Tuesday i'll be waiting for deliveries, might be painting at my boyfriend's grandparents place and going to the safari on the weekend. Meeting up with our friend once he gets time off work and such but don't know if that'll be next week or the week after :)

LET'S BLOG IT!

So didn't have to get up super early and paint in the end! Just sat in the front room and watched Terry Prachett's Going Postal on the sky plus (which was very very good by the way, makes me feel of magic sort of a similar feeling to what harry potter films do). So today being pj bottoms and my gun top day, my hair is up and I have nothing to do :) quite a good feeling really.

I've got to get some art supplies soon or i'll just push away progress to getting my project started. Even though I have the whole of August to do it, it would be best to just get it out of the way :) I've changed from previous years to shoving work till the last minute and I want my second year of university to go smooth. So maybe the weekend or next week go to Kidderminster :) get supplies, mooch around the shops and take some photos.

Got halfway through Alien3 with the boyfriend last night, was pretty late so we went to bed hense the halfway status but so far so good, i've seen all the movies in the boxset but it's still nice to kick back to them :)

I have a lovely amount of money to last me the summer, which puts me in a much better mood :)
My grandmother has given me some money this morning to go into my bank so I should budget wisely from now till the begining of September. Doesn't help that my lecturer sprung a late summer project, it's a great project but I would of perfered to be home where my art supplies are! Which means I need to get a sketchbook and some materials, luckily the Range is near my boyfriends mother's work :)

Currently watching my boyfriend play Doctor Who on the pc, while I rant on my blog :)

Also found a stash of sweets that I brough at the begining with me, which i'm not going to share since the mysterious kidnap of all my cake happened recently (I made this beautiful square swirl cake for the whole family to share, and within 15hours it was all gone... they must of had huge fucking slices). Learnt my lesson don't bring or make anything and leave it in the kitchen anymore, going to wrap it in tin foil and stash it in my boyfriends room!

Going to help with painting tomorrow at my boyfriends grandparent's place, so i've got to find some painting clothes which I don't have (think i'll wear my jeggins & cream top.. their the least concern if they do happen to get paint on). That'll be good though getting out of the house, away from the middle of nowhere and near somewhere lol. I've been wanting to go somewhere now for a few days, but it's hard trying to work around his parents schedule and also have a good day out :(

Which turns out to be a bad idea, the contents of my bag all over the bed and me sitting in the middle of it doesn't look like i'm cleaning (I feel like a magpie haha). But anyway over the past few days i've been busy and my legs are really hurting from walking everywhere so i'm taking a break this weekend. Next weekend i'm helping the Bf's grandparents paint so i'll have to find some paint clothes :( which I don't have since I don't prepare for shit to arise! (same with Dan's graduation, I wore a summer dress with cowboy boots lol no pre-warning before). Anyway nothing new with my jewellery shop, the sale is still on and i'm thinking of keeping it till mid August :)

At the moment i'm currently sorting out things I need, don't need and things that can be presents lol.

Which turned out surprisingly way back in May, so i've uploaded the good ones onto my facebook page :) Bought a few treats today a lovely wooly bear hat from River Island, some stickers from Accesorise, Alien boxset which has eight films only £12 bargin hunting haha and Night & Day watch boxset which was £6 from HMV. And some nibbles from Hotel Chocolat <3

Also on my Etsy Shop i've discounted the current stock that's for sale :) and also my Facebook page (there's much more selection on there since it costs to list on etsy, but i'm sure later this summer i'll list some more).

Quick & Simple

Had the most longest day ever, got up around 9am to get ready and leave for my boyfriend's graduation ceremony :) It started off slow and kept with that pace all the way through, lol but eventually saw him on the stage and shake hands with the vice chancellor. Got a sneaky photograph of him posing for the proper graduation photograph :) I think he looks very handsome hehe.
Also found out how easy this haircut is to maintain, washes quickly/drys quickly/styles great too and i'm pleased :) Going to Birmingham tomorrow to meet two friends, having a great end to the week!

I have a haircut I like! Such an easy manageable fringe I can cut myself now :)

On other news i've posted my necklace that I made, someone bought it from USA :) so had my first experience of posting airmail :) it's costly but atleast i'll know it will arrive safely. Updated with two new necklaces at my shop, I might actually list a few on the etsy site too since i've got some spare pounds to upload a few might actually get more sales :)

Gonna make a chocolate swirl cake later :) with icing and chocolate sprinkles for Dan's parents anniversary, thought it would be a nice change than a card and something forced bought. Also traded in 13 games in Gamestation since we either don't play them anymore or got all the achievements/gone through the story a thousand times. So the boyfriend bought Alan Wake, so far so good :) i'm watching him play through.

Tomorrow's the Boyfriend's graduation back in Swansea :) leaving around 10am from here to make away down there before 2pm. Never seen a graduation before so i'll take a few photographs of Dan and his parents, maybe one of us too (since it's casual/smart.. I haven't got anything smart so wearing a long black dress, cardigan and boots).

I'm feeling so drained recently mixed with abit of boredum, my stomach really doesn't feel to great today aswell :( I've updated my shop thinking it would cheer me up, put some things on discount for the re-opening on friday and hopefully tomorrow i'll be searching for some stones/gems/other neat things. Would be nice to find a few more people liking the page and such, anyway i'll be focusing more on rings & earrings this weekend coming so look out for more updates :) Also updated my Etsy design with the banner & new logo, it looks much better fairplay.On other news tomorrow i'll also be trying to book a haircut appointment, which I really don't like doing anyway but my hair needs a change drasticly. I've been asking everytime I go to a hairdresses can you please put a full fringe to cover my forehead (which is the size of Jupitar lol) and yet they ignore this, decide to do a swept fringe look & i'm left with a gap staring at me everytime I look in the mirror. So this time i'm preparing myself, got a picture on my phone of my old haircut which I use to love and if they don't do it to my liking I will tell them (I've always been to fucking polite to say no I don't like it and just walk out of the shop feeling a little hard done by).

Also found a new love of antique shops :) had a nice time yesterday looking through old jewellery and picked out two things to clean & re-sell. Found this lovely ring & gothic necklace :

Been playing the xbox recently since got a few new games to add to boyfriends collection, Dante's Inferno which i've played a little of and the boyfriends totally bummed it (which i'm watching him play, makes me feel too lazy to play it all the way through on my account now). Bought him Battlefield Bad Company 2 since he can play that online with his mates, they sold their old online multiplayers so he was moping about it and so I gave in since I love him :) And also Harry Potter Lego which i'm 99 percent complete but I can't find one of these SIP* and that makes me angry lol. Followed loads of walkthroughs and FAQ about the game but yet no help what so ever :(

So continuing with my twitter as per usual but what I never understood was following, following someone tweeting who was famous yes since everyone wants a nose into their lifes. But someone following me? my tweets? It just seems strange.. Didn't know my tweets interested some people.

Another update on my Facebook page for my Shop The Octopuss Garden Link, i've started going into antique jewellery :) since looking through this lovely shop in Bewdley. It got me thinking about how much of the jewellery there could be worn again!! Just a clean up and make sure the gems/stones/linking are in good condition and you have a new unique gift :)

Since my last blog about the horrible dreaded student finance, the university have sent me a cheque and it's currently in my bank waiting to be spent wildly. Only thing is I hate banking online, passwords, code words.. remembering things are kinda difficult for me :( I like everything to do with my money in person, unless the only reason is abroad buying things overseas then paypal works for me. But URG banks suck offically, this friday coming i'm going to Birmingham with my boyfriend to meet our friends but i've got errands to make! Sending one necklace via airmail and then putting money from one bank to another :/ since online complicates things for me. Oh well!!

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain at the poor service of the bursary system you have, I recieved a letter entitling me to the welsh bursary for £*** on the 3rd March 2010. Later that month I found out you had my name wrong on your system so that led to some 'errors' that I didn't know about until you cancelled my last installment of loan/grant term 3.

After a month I solved the problem by phoning the university and correcting my name since they thought I had a double barrel name. But I still didn't have my bursary as promised after speaking with them, I contacted my university yet again (Swansea Metropolitan University) and talked with Charlotte Halford (Clerical Assistant at the Academic Registry). She got in contact with you a few times about these 'errors' since this is why I didn't have the bursary yet, but I had some good news the university decided since it's the end of my year they would write the remaining students who didn't have the bursary they were entitled a cheque for the £***.

So I thought my luck had changed, unfortunatley I recieved two letters on the 22nd June 2010, one saying I wasn't getting anything at all and the other saying I was getting £*** on the July 5th 2010 put into my bank account. Then to my surprise I recieved another letter today on the July 5th 2010, saying I wasn't getting anything at all. I would like to know what is going on? Why am i not getting any of the money that you awarded me for my studies? What were these 'errors'?

Edible soaps & polaroid memories!

So been updating my facebook page for my Etsy Shop, since my lack of doing anything lead to making a handful of new studs to sell.. if you want to see more click here or here. I'm thinking of doing more today, also sunday while I have the free time since I've got a busy few days approaching and plus I don't want to work on my birthday :|

Here's my first tester from the film I recieved today, very pleased with it and my lovely assistant Ally posing there for me :) Currently bidding on two other films since I want to keep some handy for those special moments yanno? Not much on the news front today, got a phone call saying my parcel (which has my Blackberry fixed, letters that have been delivered for me and birthday cards) has been sent so might recieve it today lol just realised the time, or Monday. On Monday someone will be able to sign for it since I wont be here, got a few things in Birmingham to do and my friends birthday plans were moved from Thursday to Monday.

Brainstorm.

So yeah finally updating this thing, i've set up alot of blogs in my time but hopefully i'll stick to this one. At the moment i'm waiting on alot of parcels, letters and next week to arrive (I lead a very boring life, plus it's the summer holidays and i've passed my first year in University so nothing really to do). I've taken responcibility now to apply for a part-time job in Tescos which is funny since i'm up in England at the moment so if i do get it i'll be earning quite abit of money and confusing english people :)

Also set up my own jewellery shop on Etsy :) selling necklaces, earrings, pendants. So far though no interest, but I guess I just have to be patient and if it comes to the worst wear what i've made :D

Finally got round to buying a new camera, Polaroid 365 only cost £8 :) which is bargin for me the only problem in getting that camera though is hunting on Ebay for cheap film (which is rare, unless you don't sleep and bid ridiculously..) But so far so good i've got 10 x2 film on my way, just waiting for it to arrive in the post :) got an email yesterday informing me my result from university was wrong (resit/resubmit written under my results) and i've passed my first year, yey!! Blackberry has also been fixed and sent back to my home in Wales, just waiting for that to be posted to me, with birthday cards and such this weekend.

Oh yeah it's my birthday on the 6th :)
Going to Birmingham, with my Polaroid hopefully with a small group of friends and my beloved to make my 20th good. May take the digital too, since i'm quite tight on the film for the polaroid which i'll name Stevey :D

That's all I can think of at the moment, all that's going on in my life anyway :)
